Florida Senator Jay Collins Strongly Considering 2026 run for Governor
Florida State Senator Jay Collins (R) is considering a run for governor in the 2026 gubernatorial contest, a move that would pit him against Trump-endorsed Rep. Byron Donalds for the Republican nomination, and quite possibly First Lady Casey DeSantis. READ MORE
Byron Donalds: What did Kamala know & when did she know it?
Over the past 4 yrs, unelected, Deep State bureaucrats ran our country with an autopen while the elected President sat on the sidelines in cognitive decline.
This is the biggest scandal in American history & must NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.
Ron DeSantis: In partnership with the Florida Chamber of Commerce and CareerSource Florida, @HopeFlorida has built a referral network of over 500 employers offering job opportunities throughout the state.
All 21 local workforce boards now have Hope Florida liaisons, who work with individuals to help them find and keep stable employment.
Hope Florida has helped over 3,000 participants secure employment—with 87% achieving a wage increase after their first six months on the job. We appreciate the businesses partnering with Hope Florida to offer life-changing opportunities to Floridians in need.
Jay Collins: I was honored to join the Governor today to speak about the great accomplishments of Hope Florida.
Through Hope Florida, we’re putting people back in control of their lives. As of late 2024, nearly 30,000 participants in Hope Florida have reduced or eliminated their reliance on government food or cash assistance, resulting in an estimated annual savings of over $78 million.
In America, we are blessed to have a president like Donald J. Trump—a man unafraid to name the enemy and fix the rot in Washington that others have ignored for decades.
And here in Florida, we have a Governor and First Lady who have stood firm when others bent to the wind—who’ve fought for common sense, family values, and the American Dream.
Jason Pizzo: While the Governor has been receiving and signing bills from this legislative session, there’s one he won’t receive - my bill on E-Verify.
Unless (and until) we have a special session that includes it, no Florida politician is really serious about curbing illegal immigration.
