State Board of Immigration Executive Director Larry Keefe announced Thursday the creation of the "Law Enforcement Company Dashboard", which will allow Florida law enforcement officials to report violations of their agencies for not following state immigration law.

"This reporting system will provide a direct channel for officers and employees to report any failure by their agency to comply with Florida's immigration policies," Keefe said in a press release. "Let there be no misunderstanding - Florida law will be enforced."

Under the Law Enforcement Company Dashboard (LEAD), any official representing a law enforcement agency that fails to support the enforcement of Florida's immigration law with their best effort would violate state law and be subject to offenses and criminal proceedings at the direction of the Attorney General or removal by the governor.

"Compliance with Florida’s immigration enforcement laws (Florida Statute 908) is mandatory. Every law enforcement agency in the state is duty-bound to support and enforce these laws," the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said.  "Failure to comply undermines public safety, compromises the integrity of our legal system, and constitutes a violation of the oath of office taken by every sworn law enforcement officer."

The order comes after Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an anti-immigration package into law to combat illegal immigration during the state's special legislative session in February, which ended months of infighting between the governor and the Florida Legislature. The 62-page bill included elements of the Trump Act passed during the first special session.

"All hands on deck for immigration enforcement efforts — no excuses," Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said about the launch.
