President Donald Trump is making one final push to Florida voters to help get Republican Randy Fine across the finish line on Tuesday in Florida's 6th Congressional District.
"America First Patriot Randy Fine is running to represent the Wonderful People of Florida’s 6th Congressional District! A highly successful, Harvard educated businessman, and greatly respected State Legislator, Randy has been a tremendous Voice for MAGA," Trump said.
Randy Fine is running against Democratic candidate Josh Weil in a special election for CD 6. The district includes all of Flagler County and all or portions of St. Johns, Putnam, Marion, Lake, and Volusia counties.
The race has garnered more national attention, including from Trump, than once expected within the ruby red district. Trump joined a tele-rally for Fine over the weekend to help Fine defeat Weil, who, as of just days ago, was only trailing by four points.
Money also helps. Weil has raised as much as $10 million to Fine's 1 million.
Other heavy hitters are coming to help Fine thwart the potential upset, including Congressman Byron Donalds, Trump's choice for Florida governor. Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., also made a pitch for Fine.
Democrats are hoping the Republican cavalry won't be enough.
CD 6 was previously held by Republican Mike Waltz, who resigned to become Trump's national security advisor. Notably, Waltz won that seat by 30 points over Democratic candidate James Stockton just last November.
Will Trump save the day again? Or will Weil pull off a shocker on Tuesday?
Fine is hoping for a win in more ways than one. After all, he resigned from the Senate today for this congressional seat.
"In Congress, Randy will be an incredible fighter, who will work tirelessly with me to Strengthen our Economy, Lower Taxes, Secure the Border, Champion our Military/Vets, Ensure American Energy DOMINANCE, Protect our always under siege Second Amendment, and Advance PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH," Trump added.
The CD 6 election is Tuesday.
