President-elect Donald Trump has made two more picks for his cabinet, selecting Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY) as his United Nations ambassador and Tom Homan as his ‘border tsar.’

Representative Stefanik’s ambassadorial role will be key for directing President Trump’s foreign policy.

Stefanik, who will have to be confirmed by the Senate, thanked Trump for entrusting her with the UN ambassador position.

"I am truly honored to earn President Trump's nomination to serve in his Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations," Stefanik said. "During my conversation with President Trump, I shared how deeply humbled I am to accept his nomination and that I look forward to earning the support of my colleagues in the United States Senate."

Homan, who was Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director until 2018, will administer Trump’s immigration policy and enforce border security.

“I’ve known Tom for a long time, and there is nobody better at policing and controlling our Borders,” said Trump via Truth Social. “Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin. Congratulations to Tom. I have no doubt he will do a fantastic, and long awaited for, job.”

It is not yet clear which specific role Homan will fill.

With Stefanik and Homan, Trump has confirmed three official roles for his cabinet as he previously selected Susan Wiles to serve as his chief of staff.

Wiles, who managed Trump’s campaign, has had a successful track record helping Republican candidates win their respective races.

President Trump commended Wiles for her support during his campaign, alleging she “helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history.”

“Susie is tough, smart, innovative, and is universally admired and respected,” said Trump. “I have no doubt that she will make our country proud.”

The Floridian's Javier Manjarres, who has known Wiles for over a decade, praised her selection, saying that President Trump was "fortunate to have such a loyal friend by his side."

"Before anything, Susie is the President's friend. The President has been fortunate to have such loyal friend by his side. Susie has been a loyal friend to many of us and is someone who is not looking to climb the political ladder, but rather someone who is truly invested in his success," Manjarres said.
