Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (I) announced this afternoon that his campaign had achieved the "impossible," but it's not enough to send him to the White House. In suspending his campaign, the Independent candidate threw his support behind President Donald Trump (R). In response to RFK Jr.'s endorsement of the former president, the Trump campaign has issued a memo outlining what the endorsement means for the election.

RFK Jr.'s press conference this afternoon saw the former Democrat scrutinizing the Democratic Party. He accused them of being a threat to democracy, and he lamented that the party has moved away from the values that his father and his uncle both considered near and dear to their heart.

The Independent presidential candidate went on to share that he and President Trump had met several times in recent months. After the meetings, he realized that he and President Trump shared similar viewpoints on a number of key issues, so for the sake of democracy, he would be endorsing President Trump.

The Trump campaign has now responded to the endorsement, announcing that RFK Jr.'s backing will provide a significant boost for President Trump.

In a memo, issued by Tom Fabrizio, a Republican pollster and strategist, he explains that "the net vote gained in a state like Arizona based on just a 2020 turnout model would be over 41,000 votes nearly 4 times Biden’s winning margin or in Georgia the net gain would be over 19,000 votes nearly twice Biden’s margin." "So, when you hear or see the Harris team and/or the Democrats try and spin otherwise, now that the data clearly paints a different picture. This is good news for President Trump and his campaign – plain and simple."

In the press conference this afternoon, RFK Jr. announced that he considered himself a "spoiler candidate," so he would be suspending his campaign, endorsing President Trump, and preventing the possibility of helping elect Vice President Kamala Harris (D).

The memo from the Trump campaign can be viewed below:
