Florida legislators are warning of the disastrous consequences an imminent Iranian attack on Israel could have for the region.

Iranian government officials have vowed to attack Israel in the coming days as retribution for Israel’s alleged bombing of the Iranian embassy in Syria.

President Joe Biden has warned Iran against attacking as he claimed he expects they will do so “sooner than later.”

US Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) underscored the paradigm-shifting consequences Iran’s attack on Israel could produce.

Senator Rubio foreshadowed Iranian attacks would lead to the expansion of the Israel-Hamas conflict into the entire Middle-East region.

“If Iran and their regional proxies launch a combined attack on Israel rapid escalation will be very difficult to prevent and we will face a new armed conflict that will be nearly impossible to contain,” said Rubio.

The US Military has positioned Navy warships closer to Israel to deter Iran from striking.

The USS Dwight Eisenhower aircraft carrier, which could intercept missiles and drones fired by Iran, reportedly neared Israel’s coasts as it sailed north through the Red Sea.

According to the Pentagon, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin also spoke with Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant to reassert the US’ commitment to defending Israel.

US Representative Brian Mast (R-FL), a former volunteer with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), has blamed President Biden for emboldening Iran.

Representative Mast alleges Biden’s reconciliatory approach with Iran has convinced the latter no consequences will amount from violating US interests.

“This should come as a shock to no one, but Iran is threatening Israel because they smell weakness from the Biden administration,” claimed Mast. “Iran wants escalation because they fear no consequences. Until this changes, the U.S. and our allies can only expect more aggression from Iran.”

Intragovernmental reports have suggested Biden is facing increasing pressure from within his administration to lessen support for Israel unless they scale back their Gaza operations.

Besides decreasing military aid for Israel, Biden’s administration has sanctioned certain Israeli individuals and companies and warned of additional “consequences” if Israel executes their planned invasion of Rafah. Most recently, Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that “an immediate ceasefire is essential to stabilize and improve the humanitarian situation.”
