The five-person Republican primary race in Florida's 94th House District is beginning to ramp up weeks after the 2024 legislative session wrapped up.  Philanthropist Meg Weinberger has just announced that her campaign has received the endorsement of President Donald Trump's Veterans for Trump (VFAF) organization.

According to the VFAF official website, the endorsement reads as follows:

“Meg Weinberger has dedicated her life to advocating for the most vulnerable in society. With unwavering passion, she stands up for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, foster children, and animals in need. Meg is running for State House to bring her compassionate, conservative voice to Tallahassee as an advocate for District 94.”

In response, Weinberger‑who has a close working relationship with a Place for Hope—, an organization that helps abused and neglected children— and rescues and houses exotic and domestic animals in distress, expressed her gratitude after receiving the endorsement, and reiterated her support for the “America First Agenda” that was minted by former President Trump.

“I am humbled and honored to have Veterans for Trump’s endorsement. One of the main reasons I am running is to promote a safe and strong America, beginning in our local communities. I wholeheartedly support President Trump’s America First Agenda.  Under Biden’s administration, we have de-emphasized our commitment to a strong military and those who fight for our freedom. With Republican victories, starting with President Trump’s re-election, my own in District 94, we will turn this around,” stated Meg Weinberger.

The VFAF endorsement comes on the heels of those made by State Reps. Michael Caruso and Alina Garcia.

House District 94 is currently represented by Rep. Rick Roth (R) who is term-limited out of office later this year.

In addition to Weinberger, Republicans Jon Carter, Anthony Aguirre, Christian Acosta, and Gabrielle Fox, and Democrat Rachelle Litt, have also registered to run for this state house seat.
