The closed-door testimony Hunter Biden gave finally offered additional details into the fiduciary scandal surrounding him and President Joe Biden. Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) shared his thoughts in a recent appearance on Fox News's Hannity, declaring Hunter was "a crook" and describing how the First Son attempted to dodge questions by blaming his drug use.

"Isn't it convenient that all Hunter Biden seems to remember is that he was high and not with Joe Biden?" Rep. Gaetz inquired sarcastically, calling his behavior "very revealing," because "Whenever he is getting paid, he suggests that he is a brilliant lawyer, a financial wizard, a man about Washington."

However, Rep. Gaetz also noted that "whenever he is demanding payment, that is where you see the references to Joe Biden. The shakedowns, the threats, but then he cannot be responsible for his actions because he is just a drug-addled fool."

This did not stop China's CEFC employee Patrick Ho from recently filing a lawsuit against Hunter Biden for $1 million due to the latter not actually doing any legal work for him as per a 2017 contract, as Hannity and Gaetz both noted.

As a result, Gaetz called Hunter's drug use defense "a bribe that is dressed up in drag and masquerading around as a business transaction."

Moreover, Hannity inquired how the younger Biden was allowed to work for Burisma at a time when he was in the throes of drug addiction and did not have experience in the energy sector.

Gaetz noted that Hunter explained he was "an expert at compliance and oversight," only for Representative Harriet Hagerman (R-WY) to point out that he was not transparent about his drug problem.

"Hunter Biden got very pious and suggested that it was rude to ask anyone afflicted with addiction these questions. Remember, Hunter Biden is not a fool. He is a crook, and those crimes were to the benefit of many members of the Biden family. I believe a bribe is consummated if family members are paid off," Gaetz declared.

Finally, he suggested that because the statute of limitations on some of these offenses has not expired, the Trump administration could pursue further investigation.
