Florida's 2024 Legislative Session

The first week of the legislative session is in the books, and all of the legislative worker bees are busy making sure week 2 kicks into high hear

“After relatively quiet committee weeks, the first week of session was very busy. Major issues started to move like the President’s Live Healthy and Live Local bills, as well as the House’s special districts reauthorization bill. Budget chairs are starting to put preliminary budgets together to be released earlier this session than most. We went from a walk to a sprint this week," stated Nick Iarossi, founder of Capitol City Consulting.
