On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus, Project Opioid Florida, led by Founder & CEO Andrae Bailey, is set to host an invitation-only Executive Briefing on newly released data on the opioid crisis in Florida and Miami-Dade County.

“What sets this report apart is its ‘all-of-the-above’ conclusion. Our research unequivocally advocates for a multi-faceted approach in naloxone distribution, supporting the use of Narcan, its higher-dose counterpart Kloxxado, as well as lower-dose naloxone options alongside other harm reduction strategies,” stated Andrae Bailey, Founder and CEO of Project Opioid.

After the briefing, which has been sponsored by Aetna Better Health of Florida and other corporate and political sponsors,  Project Opioid, will provide a demonstration and training on the overdose reversal tool, naloxone nasal spray, and will be distributing Narcan and Kloxxado completely free to students, leaders, and members of the community to have on them as an emergency in case they witness an overdose
