"Senator Feinstein was a political pioneer with a historic career of public service. Intelligent, hard working & always treated everyone with courtesy & respect. May God grant her eternal rest," said Sen. Rubio

Representative Debbie Wasserman Scultz (D-FL) praised Feinstein as "making history on AIDS response to gun reforms. We worked closely on breast cancer screening access & the 2013 inauguration and her legacy of laws to protect women, children & marriage equality is heroic," adding "May her memory be a blessing."

Representative Maxwell Frost (D-FL) similarly said of Feinstein that "our country would not be where it is today without Senator Dianne Feinstein."
