In 2021 the United States withdrew from Afghanistan in what is now considered one of President Biden's (D) worst hiccups.  The issue is now seeing a revival two years later as more information comes to the surface and Republicans like US Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) are furious.

Rep. Mills has been no stranger to criticizing President Biden, and has on numerous occasions blasted the president for his failures during the botched Afghanistan withdrawal.  Just this month, Mills went after the Pentagon when it was revealed that the family of a deceased soldier was faced with paying tens of thousands of dollars to transport her remains to the United States.

"Typically, our fallen heroes are flown back home for a solemn service and then laid to a final rest at Arlington Cemetery with the utmost respect and honor," Mills said. "It is an egregious injustice that grieving families were burdened to shoulder the financial strain of honoring their loved ones. This is an unacceptable situation that demands immediate rectification."

Now, after fiery testimony from more families of the fallen soldiers, Mills is back again demanding answers alongside the Gold Star families.  Mills appeared on Fox Business to respond to the families.

"It is heart-wrenching and the Biden Administration has shown no willingness to take accountability whether that be from Secretary Lloyd Austin, Secretary Blinken, or the Commander in Chief, President Biden.  You know the sad part is I've met with every one of these families and has served as a U.S. Army combat veteran and having lost those that I've served with, having gone over and conducted different types of rescues, you know this is really close, near and dear, personal to me," said Mills.

This year the Florida Congressman joined legislators like US Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) in the impeachment efforts of President Joe Biden (D).
