As investigations into President Biden and his son Hunter continue, Representative Greg Steube (R-FL) has continually provided updates on its progress. In a recent appearance on One America News Network's Tipping Point, Rep. Steube suggested Hunter is, in fact, the "fall guy" for President Biden in their alleged influence peddling scheme.
Additionally, Rep. Steube indicated the Department of Justice's continued defense for the Biden family "may even be criminal."

"Yeah, Hunter Biden was the fall guy for Joe in doing all the business deals because Joe Biden could not be the face of it," Steube alleged.
Steube added there were multiple forms of evidence to support his theory, such as correspondence and financial documents.
"I mean, you have witness testimony, you have text message testimony, you now have financial documents that solidify these transactions occurred from foreign entities to the Biden family. There is so much evidence here," Steube continued.
Earlier in June, House Republicans publicized an FBI confidential source's report alleging President Biden and Hunter took $5 million each from Ukrainian energy company Burisma to throw off investigations into the company, funneled through "multiple bank accounts."
Shortly after, an apparent WhatsApp correspondence between Hunter and Chinese businessman Raymond Zhao from 2017 surfaced where Hunter used Joe's position as Vice President as leverage for a favorable business deal.
Finally, Steube stated he found it "amazing" the Department of Justice and Attorney General Merrick Garland continue defending the Bidens, accusing them of impeding the House's investigation.
"If it would be you, or I, or any other American, we would already be in prison. But somehow Joe Biden and people in the Administration are defending him, which is absolutely amazing to me that Merrick Garland and some of these others are willing to put their career [on the line]. Some of the things that they have done may even be criminal, impeding an investigation; they are willing to do that all for Joe Biden," Steube concluded.
In June, Representative Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) spoke with The Floridian, where he told us a similar claim to Steube's that Hunter's foreign business deals were "just the tip of the spear, just the very tip of the iceberg, and when you dig into that iceberg, in the middle of it is Joe Biden."
