Byron Donalds Responds to the White House's 'Cocaine Cowboy' Scandal

As if the current controversies surrounding the Biden family were not enough, the recent news of cocaine having been found in the White House has sent politics into a frenzy of sorts.  Now, House Republicans have launched an investigation into the matter and are reacting to the revelations individually.

House Oversight Committee Chairman US Rep. James Comer (R-KY) called the situation, "shameful," for the White House.  Comer is now spearheading the investigation, writing, "This alarming development requires the Committee to assess White House security practices and determine whose failures led to an evacuation of the building and finding of the illegal substance," Comer wrote, adding that his committee would need "additional information."

The White House has responded to the concern by merely stating the area the substance was found is a, "heavily travelled," part of the White House property.  While it is true the West Wing is commonly visited, several media reports indicate the cocaine was found near the West Executive entrance, a more secure location than previously thought.

The controversy is less than convenient for the First Family, given Hunter Biden's admitted history of drug use, including cocaine.  The First Son has often been labeled a liability for President Joe Biden (D) and is now low hanging fruit for Republicans like US Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL).

Like most political smack talk, Rep. Donalds took to Twitter after the news broke that the cocaine may have been found in a more private area than previously suspected.  Donalds posted a picture of Vice President Kamala Harris (D) with the caption, "Kamala: Joe, you and your son better take responsibility for that cocaine and stop trying to throw the bag on me."

The reference to VP Harris is relevant as MSNBC reported that the area the cocaine was found is near where the Vice President's vehicle is usually parked, seemingly trying to shift blame off of the President or his son and onto VP Harris.
