President Joe Biden's recent President's Day trip to Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy enraged lawmakers and everyday Americans. The Biden administration has sent billions of dollars to help Ukraine fight Russia, a move is seen as unAmerican considering how the Administration has allegedly failed to protect the U.S. border with Mexico, allowing an "invasion" of illegal immigrants and a tidal wave of illicit drugs to flood the country.
The Administration is not flying the Ukrainian flag over the Department of Commerce, but the flag is flying over the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., which receives federal funding.
The move to fly another nation's flag over a government building is "outrageous" according to Rep. Cory Mills.
"This is outrageous. No flag other than the U.S. flag should be flown over any U.S. government building," proclaimed Rep. Mills before clarifying his remark.
"No U.S. government buildings, police stations, or chambers of commerce who are here to represent the American people, our America. Businesses, or enforce our laws should NOT fly any flag other than the American Flag," added Rep. Mills
Flying a flag other than the American flag is nothing new for the Biden administration. Just last year, the administration allowed the Gay Pride flag to be flown over the Department of Energy building, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Departments of Agriculture and Interior, as well as quite of few other federal agencies.
Prior to President Biden being elected, former President Donald Trump only allowed the American flag to fly over government buildings.
In Florida, at Gov. Ron DeSantis's behest, State Senator Jay Collins and Rep. David Borrero, have filed legislation to prevent other non-authorized flags, including Pride flags, from being flown over state government buildings.
“No other flag may be exposed to public view for exhibition or display, in any manner, by a governmental agency, local government, or unit of local government,” reads House Bill 1011,
