Donalds Weighs In on Twitter Files Proving Russian Collusion False

The 14th installment of the so-called "Twitter files" posts reveals top Democrats ignored warnings about the authenticity of Russian collusion or interference in the 2016 Election. Moreover, media outlets, Twitter included, chose to keep this under wraps. Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL-19) discusses this and more on Fox News' Mornings with Maria.

"Democrats have been working in conjunction with corporate America to suppress info, put out misinformation & to try to cast aspersions against Trump & the GOP There are going to be more investigations. This is the type of thing we CANNOT have in the United States of America," stated Rep. Donalds.

Host Maria Bartiromo spoke of how former Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) was attacked for his findings and she herself attacked for reporting it. Rep. Donalds says he talked with Nunes about it "once or twice," adding that "he was right then. Obviously now he's being supported, and he is right now."

"The thing that's even worse," says Donalds, "is that you have members of the Intelligence Committee; Adam Schiff; and other top-ranking Democrats who knew this was a lie, Twitter was telling them this was a lie, but they kept going anyway because the politics that they were trying to insinuate demanded that they try to find some way to villainize Donald Trump."

As such, this necessitates more investigations, as Donalds' tweet describes.

Bartiromo questions if Schiff will be held accountable for speaking of Russian collusion by Trump where there was none. Donalds answers that this is the precise reason for Schiff's removal from the Intelligence Committee by Speaker McCarthy, "because now the proof is clear to the American people that Adam Schiff just simply can't be trusted with one of the most sensitive committees in all of Congress."

Similarly, this explains why the situation involving classified documents at the Biden residence being found is evading questions from the White House, says Donalds.
