DeSantis Sends Out Flurry of Endorsements Before 2022 Midterms

Over the past few days, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has been incredibly active not only on social media, but in person, stumping for Republican candidates around the nation. With the midterms just 5 days away, “America’s Governor” is looking to make an impact this election cycle.

In an interview with Sean Hannity, Gov. DeSantis explained how Florida is able to do more with less compared to the state of New York, while also supporting Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) in his campaign for governor.

"Well, it’s interesting because the people that moved from New York, they will tell me, ‘Hey, your roads are better here, your infrastructure is better here, your services are better,’…I think the issue is, right now in New York state, there’s nobody who’s an advocate for the taxpayer. Basically, the taxpayers are treated disrespectfully. The politicians divvy all this up. I think they give it to a lot of special interests. So, Lee Zeldin as governor will mean that the people of New York actually have somebody looking out for taxpayers for a change,” stated DeSantis.

In addition, DeSantis would also tweet out support for a multitude of Senate and Gubernatorial candidates.

“The road to saving America from the woke Left goes right through Arizona, by electing @KariLake and @bgmasters. Blake and Kari will be warriors for the people of Arizona, and I’m proud to support their campaigns,” tweeted DeSantis.

He would also dip his toes in to the Keystone State as well.

“Pennsylvanians — get out & vote for leaders who will reject the Left’s power-grabs & stand up for your rights. Vote @dougmastriano for Governor & send @DrOz to the Senate. It’s time to restore freedom to the Keystone State,” said DeSantis.

He would also send out a flurry of tweets supporting the likes of Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) for her gubernatorial race in Arkansas, J.D. Vance (R) and his Senate race in his Ohio, and others.

DeSantis also backed US Senator Mike Lee in Utah, a move that politicos and media types see as direct challenge to former President Donald Trump. The ad DeSantis appear in for Sen. Lee was paid for by The Club for Growth, which has had a falling out with the former president.

Could this be DeSantis' way of testing the waters nationally?
