Mills Helps Spearhead Hurricane Relief Efforts in Volusia and Seminole Counties

Share

While many politicians have no problem taking photo ops following a tragedy or natural disaster, few politicians actually want to put in the work. Cory Mills (R), the Republican congressional nominee in Florida's 7th District, is one of those few.

Mills, an Army combat veteran, was seen distributing water bottles throughout Central Florida in District 7. Not only is he putting in the work, but he hasn't won his congressional race yet.

Mills is going above and beyond the call of duty.

“Politicians like to talk about how they will help the people, but few act when people are in need. Whether it’s Americans left in Afghanistan, or Floridians in need here in the 7th District, I will always ‘walk the walk.’ Time for talk is over! Time for action is NOW! #FLStrong," stated Mills on Twitter.

CD 7, which is just miles from Orlando, received a solid amount flooding and damage due to Hurricane Ian, and is currently sustaining record flooding days after the storm passed.

In this video, Mills was seen in a swamp buggy delivering necessities as water level are continuing to rise.

“Devastating flooding in Seminole County. We rode in a swamp buggy with @CoryMillsFL as they delivered water and food to those in need. You can see just how flooded Geneva is and the water surrounding Lake Harney is expected to continue to rise," added Mills.

Mills will face Obama Democrat Karen Green (D)

in the 2022 midterm elections that will be held onNovember 8th.
