Candidate Vicki Lopez (R-113) has been pushing ahead to win her state House race in South Florida, and has now been endorsed by US. Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), a Cuban-American lawmaker thatrepresents Florida's 26th Congressional District.

This is not Lopez's first big endorsement of the election season.  A week ago Lopez was endorsed by Coral Gables Mayor Vince Lago.  Not only has she acquired key endorsements, but Lopez has also surpassed impressive fundraising numbers with over $150,000 in donations over the Summer.

"Vicki will keep Florida’s future on the right track in Tallahassee," said Congressman Carlos Gimenez. "Like me, she is a strong believer in a commonsense government, a government that listens to the needs of its people and is always ready to take action. I wholeheartedly endorse her campaign in HD 113 because I know she will tirelessly serve her constituents and lead Miami-Dade with resolve."

Lopez was honored to have the endorsement from her fellow south Floridian.  Lopez responded to the endorsement, "I am honored to have Congressman Gimenez’s endorsement for my race in HD 113," said Vicki Lopez. "He has led a life dedicated to public service and has never failed to put the best interest of his community first. We need more leaders like him in Washington, D.C., and I am grateful for his support as I continue my campaign throughout the district. Together, we will keep Florida and Miami-Dade strong!"

Carlos Gimenez has been a strong critic against the Biden Administration's policies.  Just a few weeks ago, the congressman bashed Biden for the ongoing Border Crisis, putting more pressure on the president to solve the year long issue.
