On Friday, President Joe Biden accused Congressional Republicans of attempting to “overturn the Presidential election” and of wanting to “Jail doctors for providing medical care”.
President Biden made an additional flurry of allegations, including statements claiming Republicans will present legislation that would install a blanket national ban on abortions.
There was no evidence provided to substantiate any of the accusations made.
The statements were released through President Biden’s official Twitter account.
For what it’s worth, I happen to think the best way to figure out what Congressional Republicans’ commitments are is to look at the ones they’ve already made. pic.twitter.com/3cChRVxBYF

While recent polls have demonstrated that most Americans support some form of abortion bans, there have not been any Republicans or Democrats who have proposed, or plan to propose, a national ban on all abortions.
Moreover, President Biden’s subsequent accusations that Republicans plan to incarcerate doctors does not specify if doctors will be criminally prosecuted for performing illegal abortions, it simply just states that republicans want to jail doctors for doing their jobs.
As such, it is unclear what Biden is basing his accusations on. What’s clear is that President Biden’s accusations come after Republicans recently upped the ante regarding calls for stricter abortion legislation, election integrity, and budget equilibrium.
In effect, Republican Senator Rick Scott and Biden recently faced off regarding Senator Scott’s legislative proposals for next term’s congressional session. Scott’s legislative plan, baptized as the ‘Rescue America Plan’, covers a broad range of topics, from Education to Color Blind Equality, to Gender, Life, Science issues, and many more.
Most saliently, however, is Scott’s proposal ‘s characterization of “unborn babies as babies”. The pro-life stance adopted by Scott’s legislative plan starkly contrasts the current pro-choice backdrop created and proudly endorsed by the Biden administration.
Scott’s ‘Rescue America Plan’ has received support from ex-conservative politicians and popular conservative figures but is still being evaluated for widespread support by the rest of the Republican party.
