Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) continues to criticize President Joe Biden (D), saying that “Biden is blundering our country towards the abyss.”

Since President Biden assumed office, there’s been a rivalry between him and the Florida Governor. They’ve disagreed on virtually every political issue that’s been nationally discussed, and Governor DeSantis warns that the country is nosediving deeper into a collapse under the President’s leadership. This, he says, is influencing voters to support the GOP.

“When I was elected Governor in 2018, there were nearly 300,000 more Democrats than Republicans registered in the state of Florida,” DeSantis said in a message to supporters. “Can you imagine how different our state would be right now if freedom had not won in 2018?” he questions, affirming that “over the last three and a half years, Florida has cemented its place as a beachhead of freedom” and calling the state “a shining example that no matter the circumstances, freedom is always a working model.”

Fast forward to 2022 wherein Republicans have now overtaken Democrats in registered voters, and DeSantis argues that Biden has largely contributed to the increase in GOP support.

“Biden is enacting an agenda that may exceed the destruction of the old Obama agenda,” DeSantis argues, adding that “the radical Left in this country is more aggressive than ever before. They no longer conceal that they are committed to destroying America from within.”

In calling for support for his reelection, DeSantis vowed to “continue to be that beachhead of freedom” because “Biden is blundering our country towards the abyss and make no mistake: They’re coming for Florida because Florida represents a roadblock for the Biden agenda.”

DeSantis has consistently argued that, under his leadership, Florida has become the freest state in the country, inciting criticism from numerous Democrats within and throughout the country. Meanwhile, Biden's approval rating among Americans, particularly Hispanic voters, has sunk to an all-time low.
