Carolina Amesty Targets Socialism in Latest Ad

Share

Carolina Amesty (R-45) has added to her campaign for Florida's 45th State House seat with a new relevant ad.  In the advertisement, Amesty touches on a number of issues, but further promises to fight alongside Gov. DeSantis (R-FL) against the Biden Administration and the rising power of Socialism in the United States.

As a Venezuelan American, Amesty has prioritized an anti-socialism narrative as the defining factor of her campaign.  Because of this, her campaign team has stated that Amesty's message is to be, "deeply conscious of the consequences of socialism and its danger to American freedom. She has pledged to fight radical liberal ideology at every opportunity.

"Joe Biden doesn’t get it.  Gas prices keep going up.  Inflation keeps getting worse.  And his only solution is more government," said Amesty in the ad.  "I’ll stand with Governor DeSantis…. Against the Biden agenda…. And his big woke corporate cronies.  I’ll fight to suspend the gas tax…. Cut property taxes…. And make sure every family keeps more of the money they earn.  Faith…Family…and Freedom.  Vote Carolina on August 23rd!

The ad is included below or available at Along with a hefty amount of campaign cash raised, Amesty has received endorsements from some of Florida's most reputable Republican lawmakers.  Author of the Parental Rights in Education bill, State Rep. Joe Harding (R-22), has endorsed Amesty, along with former Commissioner of Education Richard Corcoran.

It now appears that bashing President Joe Biden (D) and pledging loyalty to Governor DeSantis is the new golden ticket for Republican candidates around Florida, especially on the economy.  Just last week at the Sunshine Summit CFO Jimmy Patronis (R-FL) himself, praised DeSantis for recent economic gains the state has made, and credited the governor's team for setting Florida ahead of other states, despite national economic data that suggests an impending economic crisis.

Since early 2021, Governor DeSantis has forged a deep-rooted rivalry with the current presidential administration, pitting Washington against Florida in policy approaches from COVID-19 to now, drag shows for kids?
