Cabrera Receives Trump Endorsement for County Commission

Share

Less than a day following The Floridian’s update concerning Kevin Marino Cabrera’s impressive fundraising, former President Donald Trump (R) has announced his endorsement of Mr. Cabrera.

This should not come as a total surprise as Cabrera was the Florida State director of Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign.

“Kevin Cabrera will be a great member of the Miami-Dade County Commission, representing District 6,” said the 45th President. “In 2020, when I won Florida’s 29 electoral votes by a historic margin, Kevin was my State Director. Kevin is a brave and smart America First Conservative who supports Low Taxes and fewer Regulations on Small businesses!”

This endorsement for Cabrera is huge. While it is not inside or secret information that Cabrera was a major asset in the Trump reelection campaign, those pining Miami-Dade County Commission seat do not declare their party affiliation. And with Trump collecting more than 60% of the vote in the district Cabrera is running in, District 6, the endorsement could put Cabrera over the finish line.

“I am honored and grateful to receive the endorsement and backing of President Trump in this election,” stated Cabrera. “President Trump has led the way on many important conservative issues that impact everyone in our community, including lowering taxes and keeping our communities safe.”

The primary election for the seat will take place in late August.
