Grieco Scores Long List of Democratic Endorsements

In his campaign for the Florida Senate, Representative Mike Crieco (D-133) has garnered critical endorsements from both House and Senate Democrats.

Rep. Grieco was first elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2018, representing District 113, which includes North Bay Village, Miami Beach, and parts of Little Havana and Downtown. He ran for reelection unopposed in 2020 and won.

His track record has earned him the endorsement of influential Senate Democrats:  Jason Pizzo (D), Lori Berman (D), Shevrin Jones (D), and Tina Polsky (D).  This is also not to mention his even lengthier list of endorsements from members of the Florida House of Representatives.

Reps. Evan Jenne, Ramon Alexander, Andrew Learned, Ben Diamond, Christopher Benjamin, Dan Daley, Kelly Skidmore, Marie Woodson, Matt Willhite, Michael Gottlieb, Michele Raynor-Goolsby, Nick Duran, and Tracie Davis, have all backed Rep. Grieco.

“This show of support from my valued colleagues and friends is an honor," said Grieco, "there’s no group of public servants with whom I’d rather be fighting the good fight.  I only hope that, next year, I can make them proud in the Senate.”

Rep. Grieco served as the Democratic ranking member on the Criminal Justice & Public Safety Subcommittee. Mike has also steered tens of millions of dollars back to our community, including funds for desperately needed storm drainage projects that will protect our homes from flooding.

Grieco is currently pursuing District 36 in the Florida Senate this 2022 election cycle.  Republicans look forward to a relatively easy election cycle, especially after redistricting. But, a Democrat darkhorse candidate in Grieco could potentially stir things up this November.
