The Republican Party of Florida is taking another victory lap around the Florida Democratic Party, celebrating that they have a 45,153 registered voter advantage. This doesn't look good for Florida Democrats.

Late last year, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that “for the first time in the history of Florida,” Republicans have surpassed Democrats in registered voters.

With Democratic popularity at an all-time low, and as Democrats are expected to cede their majority in the U.S. Congress and potentially lose House and Senate seats in the Florida Legislature, Republicans could see their voter registration advantage jump to close 200,000 by the time the dust settles on Election Night 2022

" Thbe Florida GOP notched another historic win by doubling the number of newly active registered voters in one month. According to the latest Florida Department of State, Division of Elections data, Florida Republicans have an advantage of 45,153 active registered voters who are showing their preference for conservative Republican principles. Under the leadership of Governor Ron DeSantis and state and local leaders, Florida will remain a free and open state," stated the RPOF in a press release.

The total number of current active registered voters is below.

REP: 5,122,213

DEM: 5,077,060

NMP: 4,081,300
