Mast Says Illegal Immigrants Just Have to 'Break the law' to Live American Dream

Share

US Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) has reminded Americans of the Border Crisis and of the whopping $450,000 the Biden administration is thinking about gifting illegal immigrants for foreign nationals that have crossed the U.S. southern border illegally.  Although many immigrants work hard to achieve the "American Dream," Rep. Mast claims all you have to do is "break the law" in order to get paid.

In a Tweet last night, Rep. Mast listed off the financial burdens many Americans are faced with:  Sending a kid to college, the value of a home, and saving for retirement.

However, Mast noticed that the "payout for an illegal immigrant" under President Biden would be just under the combined total of three financial burdens Americans face on a daily basis.

Mast then wrote, "People work hard to achieve the American Dream.  Under Joe Biden, all you have to do is break the law."

Yes, you heard that correctly, according to Fox News, "reports that the agencies are considering paying $450,000 to illegal immigrants separated at the border under the Trump administration."

The Republicans are demanding answers from Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Forty-five House Republicans, including House Minority Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana, GOP Caucus Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York and Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw, have signed onto the letter, which is led by North Carolina Rep. Greg Murphy.

Former VP Mike Pence (R) said on Fox News, "They've unleashed the worst border crisis in 30 years.  They're also sending a message south of the border that America's border is open."
