As campaigns begin to fine-tune their 2022 mudslinging efforts, the Florida GOP is already taking shots at Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) accusing him of bringing the Socialism to Florida.

Republicans across the country continue to grow worried that the "Squad," agenda is beginning to control the Democrat Party, as Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) recently divulged to The Floridian that House Democrats fear backlash from the progressive wing of their own party.

In a newly released meme tweet, Florida Republicans bashed Crist for his allegiance to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the Squad, listing what they fear he might do in response to the current issues:

While it is safe for the GOP to assert that Crist has an allegiance to Speaker Pelosi and Leftist ideals, he does not always vote with his party, as he has differed with Speaker Pelosi on matters such as Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security bills, otherwise, the Congressman consistently votes with Pelosi 90% of the time according to ProPublica.

As for rioting and looting, the Floridian previously reported that Charlie Crist denounced the Black Lives Matter riots of last Summer in the wake of George Floyd's death. Crist put out a statement about the grand jury findings in the Breonna Taylor police-involved shooting death in Louisville denouncing the “violence or harassment of anyone” and “slow the progress peaceful protestors are making."

Crist will have a hotly primary campaign set in front of him, as the popular progressive Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried (D-FL) begins to churn up her campaign efforts and has been the only statewide elected Democrat in years. Fried has already taken a couple of shots at Crist, saying that his time has come and gone.
