With COVID-19 cases continuing to skyrocket in the sunshine state, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has issued an executive order that targets restaurants in Florida.

In the executive order, “the Department of Business and Professional Regulation shall ensure all restaurants implement employee screening protocols pursuant to guidance developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”

Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant market has been hit, and they have had to adapt to regulations and curfews in order to maintain business.

The Florida Governor has also issued a number of executive orders for different parts of the sunshine state, and they have been met with both support and heavy criticism.
