Freshman Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D) has been a staunch supporter of impeaching President Donald Trump, there is no question of that.

Since being elected, Rep. Mucarsel-Powell has shown support for the effort, and she did in fact vote for Trump to be impeached, not to mention voting for the two articles of impeachment to be move from the House Judiciary Committee to the full House.

However, when Mucarsel-Powell decided to tweet her year end review of her work in office, her contribution to the impeachment effort is missing.

In her message to followers, she admitted that she "was honored to represent South Florida and pass over 400 critical pieces of legislation while hosting hundreds of events across our district."

She asserted that she was "proud to have worked all year" for the people in her district.

Rep. Mucharsel-Powell pointed to House accomplishments, many of those votes going down part lines, but she does not claim that impeaching President Trump is a big accomplishment for the House.

She did, however, note that the Lower Drug Prices Now Act passed, a Bipartisan Background Checks Act passed and that the Climate Action Now Act passed along with noting that 21 bills, amendments & resolutions were introduced.

The freshman congresswoman is up for reelection in 2020, and there are a number of Republicans that are looking to make her seat red again. Considering that President Trump won the sunshine state in the 2016 election, it does bring up the question as to why such an important effort for Democrats as impeaching President Trump is not something that she would highlight for her reelection bid.

President Trump's son, Eric Trump, recently said that the presidential campaign would look to hold Mucarsel-Powell and other House Democrats "accountable" for their push to impeach the president.
