Republican Disunity threatens Trump's chances in Florida

Once again, the Florida State Republican Party finds itself firmly behind the political eight ball as it appears as if Chairman Joe Gruters could be on his way out, or at the very least, shunned by Gov. Ron DeSantis and President Donald Trump.

Porque? Why?

Gruters has been a Trumpster since day one, but could the push to promote Trump during his 2016 presidential bid just have been one big smoke-and-mirrors play?

Maybe.

Since taking the helm of the state GOP, Gruters has installed some very questionable and divisive individuals to help him run the group.

Some of these individuals have been at the core of the party's disunity in south Florida and could be implicated in a federal investigation stemming from potential federal and state campaign finance violations.

Oh, let's not forget about the dysfunctional Broward Republican Executive Committee (BREC) and Gruters close tie and support of that band of misfits.

What's worse, Gruters has forced several county leaders to abandon the state GOP. More on this to follow soon...

Just how bad has it gotten for Gruters?

Besides having issues with Gov. Ron DeSantis, who wants to slash his salary, during President Trump's recent stop in The Villages, many state reps were there except for Gruters.

Gruters did manage to tweet some love towards the president.

Republicans are already pointed at former Vice President Joe Biden's gaffes and forgetfulness as a sign that he may not have the mental capacity to be president, so expect Sen. Bernie Sanders' recent heart attack to be used to show that his health should be brought into question.

As for how they are doing at the polls, Biden's support is dropping like a rock and Sanders' is barely hanging on. It's the Elizabeth Warren Show, and both Joe and Bernie know it.

Warren leads in all the early voting states except for South Carolina where Biden leads by 29 points in the latest Democratic primary poll conducting in the Palmetto State. Warren is also leading in the most recent poll taken in California.

This does not look good for both Biden and Sanders.

The United States was supposed to be in Syria for 30 days, that was many years ago. We stayed and got deeper and deeper into battle with no aim in sight. When I arrived in Washington, ISIS was running rampant in the area. We quickly defeated 100% of the ISIS Caliphate...

.including capturing thousands of ISIS fighters, mostly from Europe. But Europe did not want them back, they said you keep them USA! I said “NO, we did you a great favor and now you want us to hold them in U.S. prisons at tremendous cost. They are yours for trials.”

This is simple. It’s not about the whistleblower or the complaint. It’s not about Democrats. Or me. It’s about a damning call in which the President pressured a foreign power to investigate a political rival, harming national security. It’s about our democracy.
