Florida Senator Marco Rubio gave Democrats fuel for their anti-tax bill fodder when he stated that the historic tax reform bill that President Trump recently signed into law, may have gone too far in helping corporations.
“You’re going to see a lot of these multinationals buy back shares to drive up the price...That isn’t going to create dramatic economic growth.”
Democrats like Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D), who voted against the Republican tax bill, was quick to use Rubio’s words against the GOP, saying “Senator Rubio finally admitted what we've been saying all along. This abhorrent bill was written for wealthy Republican donors, by wealthy Republican donors.”
Republicans sold the bill as a pro-business, anti-tax and regulation measure that would create higher wages and jobs, while Democrats have said all along that this move to cut the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent was all about paying back those “wealthy Republican donors.”
Rubio also said that if it were up to him, the new tax law would look a lot different, but in the end, it will be up to the American people to accept or denounce the measure. Rubio believes that once the tax law takes hold, Americans will embrace it.

Rubio cannot be trusted. I am a Republican, worked for him to get elected the first time Only vote for him because he is on the ticked.... Wish we could find someone else on the Republican side. He always has to said something stupid......Want to be the first Latin President and attention no matter what......He would never get my Vote!!!!!!!!
Debbie Wasserman Schultz should resign or be voted out of Congress. She is a disgrace to the Democratic Party. She stole democracy from the party, because she thought it would benefit her. In the end, no Democrat in the country was as despised as her.
