President Trump to Make 11th Hour Push to Help Republicans Retain Their House Majority

With Republicans bleeding support among their rank-and-file voters, according to several internal polls, and Independents appearing to back Democratic congressional candidates, is it too late for President Donald Trump to make a last-ditch effort to save the Republican majority in the House of Representatives?

It appears as if MAGA Inc., or Trump Victory, is going to pump in $25 million into congressional races this cycle in hopes of mitigating the damage Democrats are doing to Republicans in the lower chamber of the U.S. Congress.

Is it too little, too late?

After the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) pulled its $6 million ad buy from Republican Scott Singer’s race against Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D), Team Trump could be on the verge of dumping more money against the popular incumbent congressman.

Millions of dollars have been spent to defeat Rep. Moskowitz, but the needle has hardly moved in Singer’s favor.

Now, a new poll by the Democratic House Majority PAC shows Moskowitz leading Singer by 5 percentage points with less than two weeks before election day.

Let’s keep in mind that the House Majority PAC is the political arm of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

Does it make sense to throw money at a race most political consultants and operatives have written off as a Democratic Party 'HOLD '?

Yes, well, kind of. In Florida, about 20 percent of voters have voted. Most voters vote in early voting and on Election Day.

So, Republicans have a window to galvanize their voter base, but that window is closing.

Singer’s internal poll numbers have him up by 7 percentage points, so the argument can be made that the CLF pulled out because Singer had enough resources to win.

Moskowitz has declined to debate Singer.

Recent polling in Florida has both Senator Ashley Moody and Gubernatorial nominee Byron Donalds struggling among Republicans. The same is the case for both incumbent lawmakers and congressional candidates running in Republican-leaning districts.

If Republicans lose the House and possibly the Senate this cycle, Vice President J.D. Vance’s chances of winning the 2028 presidential nomination will be diminished. Paging Secretary Marco Rubio.

President Trump will be in Fort Myers, Florida this week to rally support for regional congressional candidates.
