Several of the “most prominent” Human Rights Advocacy Organizations in both Palm Beach County and the U.S. have endorsed incumbent Congresswoman Lois Frankel (D-Fla.) in her re-election bid in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District (FL CD 23).

Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the Palm Beach County Chapter of the National Organization for Women’s (PBC NOW) Women’s Issues Now (WiN NOW), Equality PAC, and the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council Voters Alliance have all announced their endorsements for the Congresswoman.

Congresswoman Frankel Expresses Gratitude

“It is an honor to be endorsed by important organizations who are doing the difficult but necessary work of standing up for civil rights,” Rep. Frankel said, expressing gratitude to the organizations.

According to her campaign, these endorsements showcase “the continued faith that Palm Beach County’s civil rights advocates have” in the congresswoman as a result of “her long track record of being a leading champion for reproductive freedom and LGBTQ+ equality.”

“I look forward to continuing to work side-by-side with these powerful advocates to defend women’s rights and the rights of LGBTQ+ Floridians for years to come,” she concluded.

Rep. Frankel's Pivot to FL CD 23

Congresswoman Frankel, who currently represents FL CD 22, is running for FL CD 23 after the recent Florida congressional redistricting map moved much of her district in late Apr. 2026.

The incumbent is expected to face Lake Worth Beach activist Victoria Doyle in the Democratic primary as she tries to gain control of the Democratic stronghold.

Current FL CD 23 Representative, Congressman Jared Moskowitz, decided not to run for re-election against Rep. Frankel, and instead pivoted towards FL CD 25.

Congresswoman Frankel has also appeared to shake off far more progressive candidates, as “proud Democratic Socialist” Oliver Larkin has also shifted from FL CD 23 to FL CD 25.

Florida's Primary Election is scheduled for Aug. 18, 2026.
