The Florida Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia for a full term as CFO through a press statement this week.

“The Florida Chamber of Commerce is ‘all in’ for Blaise Ingoglia to continue serving as Florida’s Chief Financial Officer,” Florida Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mark Wilson said. “Both as a legislator and as Florida’s CFO for the past year, Blaise has fought side by side with the Florida Chamber of Commerce to help stomp out the frivolous lawsuits, fraud and waste that drive up costs and impact affordability for Florida families and local businesses.  Florida has the lowest debt per capita in America, and we look forward to another four years of strong partnership as he continues his leadership on the Florida Cabinet.”

The Florida Chamber also noted Ingoglia's “A” grade on its annual Legislative Report Card.

CFO Ingoglia was appointed to the position by Gov. Ron DeSantis in 2025. Since assuming the role, Ingoglia has uncovered $3.7 billion in excessive and wasteful spending as part of Florida's Agency of Fiscal Oversight (FAFO) with stops in Palm Beach, Hillsborough, Orange, and Broward counties.

Ingoglia thanked the Florida Chamber for its endorsement.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the local business leaders from every sector of our economy and corner of our state they represent," Ingoglia said. "The Florida Chamber’s commitment to strengthening Florida’s economy, supporting job creators, and advancing the solutions that keep our state competitive aligns with my priorities. I’m grateful for their confidence and look forward to continuing to work with them to fight for policies that will keep Florida the nation’s economic leader."

The Florida Chamber's endorsement follows other organizations backing Ingoglia's candidacy, including the Gun Owners of America, the National Associations of Police Organizations, and the Associated Industries of Florida.

Prior to becoming CFO, Ingoglia served eight years in the Florida House from 2014-2022 and three years in the Florida Senate from 2022 through 2025. He also served as chairman of the Florida Republican Party from 2015 to 2019.

Ingoglia is in a Republican primary for CFO with Frank Collige. Democratic candidates include former Florida Senator Annette Taddeo and Earle Ford.

The primary is Aug. 18, with the general election on Nov. 3.
