Congressman and Florida gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds (R-FL) announced on social media that he has received an endorsement for Florida governor from Concerned Veterans for America Action.
"I am honored to have the support of @CVA_Action," Donalds wrote. "Veterans sacrificed so much to protect the American Dream, and I'll never stop fighting to make that dream a reality for every Floridian."
"To our veteran and military families in Florida, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your support. Florida is already the greatest state in the nation and together, we'll work to keep it that way and build something even better for the next generation," Donalds added.
Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) is a policy organization dedicated to promoting the "well-being, prosperity, and self-sufficiency of veterans, their families, and their communities."
Florida is home to 1.4 million veterans and over 85,000 active duty service members.
“Veterans fought and sacrificed so Americans could be free to pursue their American Dream. For too many Floridians, however, regulatory burdens, rampant government spending, and cost-of-living pressures have put the American Dream further from reach," CVA Action Senior Advisor John Vick said in a statement.
Vick praised Rep. Donalds for delivering for Florida families in his endorsement.
"Florida deserves a governor with a proven record of delivering results and tackling the challenges that matter most to families across the state. Byron Donalds has consistently led on solutions that expand opportunity, strengthen communities, and promote long-term stability in The Sunshine State," Vick said.
"Whether by confronting Florida’s housing crisis, advancing educational freedom, or championing fiscal oversight of the state, his leadership is grounded in practical results that benefit all Floridians and position us for a stronger future. CVA Action and its network of veterans and military families are proud to support Byron Donalds and urge Floridians to vote for him for governor," Vick added.
