Rep. Byron Donalds continues to raise 'Big Money' for his 2026 gubernatorial campaign run, announcing that he has raised $9.2 million in campaign dollars in the third quarter of 2025. Since announcing his gubernatorial run, Rep. Donalds has raised a total $31.5 million in the 2026 midterm election cycle.
Team Donalds was quick to point out that the "monster fundraising quarter" highlighted the fact that Rep. Donalds has "unmatched momentum" in the Republican gubernatorial primary election.
In addition, the Donalds for Governor campaign also highlighted several key congressional endorsements for House Republican leadership in Congress, and of course, continued to boast the endorsement he received from President Donald Trump.
“By every metric, Byron Donalds is the dominant force in the Governor’s race. With his broad conservative grassroots support, record-setting fundraising, and wide lead in the polls, Byron Donalds is criss-crossing Florida and taking his winning message to every corner of the state. Byron Donalds will be our next governor because he is the proven conservative fighter President Trump and Floridians trust to lead the Sunshine State,” said Ryan Smith, Chief Strategist, Donalds for Governor.
Donalds, who was recently named Time Magazine's rising political stars, is expected to face off against current Lt. Governor Jay Collins, who is rumored to the verge of announcing his own gubernatorial bid to replace the retiring Governor Ron DeSantis.
