Representative Adam Schiff, House Intelligence Committee Chairman, is being called a hypocrite by Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) for a phone call where Schiff said he would be willing to accept dirt on Trump.
The two-year-old call was a prank by Russian radio hosts Vladimir "Vovan" Kuznetzov and Alexey "Lexus" Stolyarov, who have close ties to the Kremlin. They posed as Ukranian politicians stating they had damaging information about Trump.
This comes at a time where House Democrats are conducting an impeachment inquiry over the recent allegations that Trump was trying to get Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden's son as the 2020 Elections take shape.
Gaetz went to Twitter with a clip from the eight-minute-long phone call.
"Democrats are running a “Rocket Docket” impeachment. We must show what a sham this truly is." Gaetz
In the clip, Schiff, D-Calif., tells the Russian DJs, who were posing as Andriy Parubiy, the former speaker of Ukraine's parliament, that we would be willing to accept the information about Trump. They told Schiff that they had naked photos of Trump and could provide audio of Sobchak and Buzova discussing the photos.
Gaetz has called out Schiff for the hypocrisy of the Democrat's willingness to accept information from the Ukranian government as his committee investigates Trump for the phone call the President made to benefit his re-election campaign.
