US Representative Brian Mast (R-FL), a former volunteer with the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF), has alleged the recent confidential Israeli intelligence documents leak was intentionally caused by senior officials within President Joe Biden’s administration.
The illegally leaked classified documents outline how Israel is planning to launch a counter-attack against Iran, which fired hundreds of missiles at Israel in previous weeks.
Iran’s expanded missile attacks follow Israel’s military operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
During a Fox News interview, Representative Mast claimed he knows “for a fact there is a senior DOD advisor that was working for an influence campaign,” adding via X that “It’s no surprise Biden-Harris officials are committing TREASON by leaking U.S. Intelligence to Iran.”

President Biden’s administration has stated they are “deeply concerned” about the document leak and will investigate the matter.
“We’re deeply concerned, and the President remains deeply concerned, about any leakage of classified information into the public domain,” said National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby.
The Department of Defense (DOD) refused to speculate on the origin of the leak when asked during a recent press conference.
“As it relates to the safety or the safeguarding of sensitive information, that is of course something that we take incredibly seriously here at the Department of Defense, and we'll continue to do so,” said a DOD spokesperson. “But as it relates to this particular allegation, as I'm sure you can appreciate, because it's under investigation, I'm just not going to be able to offer any more comment.”
News agencies have rumored Ariane Tabatabai, the chief of staff to Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict Christopher Maier, is responsible for the leaks.
DOD undermined such claims, claiming to their “knowledge, this official is not a subject of interest, and the department remains fully committed to supporting the investigation.”
