As mask mandates return in certain parts of the country, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo is telling people to not comply.

"What do you call re-imposing mask policies that have been proven ineffective or restarting lockdowns that are known to cause harm?" posted Ladapo on X this morning. "You don't call it sanity. These terrible policies only work with your cooperation. How about refusing to participate…"

This week, Morris Brown College in Atlanta instated a two week mask mandate for students and faculty after an new variant of COVID was allegedly detected. Los Angeles production company Lionsgate brought back a mask mandate for nearly half of their employees as well.

Yesterday, CNN posted, "If you’re at high risk of serious illness or death from Covid-19, it’s time to dust off those N95 masks, according to a growing number of experts."

Governor Ron DeSantis's Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern reposted and commented, "They’re using a picture of a child in an N95. Gross. Luckily, @GovRonDeSantis proposed and signed legislation that banned mask mandates in Florida. We aren’t going to play in the federal government’s biomedical security theater."

In May, Gov. DeSantis signed legislation permanently banning mask mandates in the State of Florida. This goes for government buildings, schools and medical facilities.

DeSantis says mask mandates and lockdowns "totally off the table"

DeSantis also signed laws against a "W.H.O. pandemic treaty", banned gain of function research, and signed a Protection of Medical Conscience Act.

"I want to be a haven for physicians who put the evidence above what some medical society said," said DeSantis.

DeSantis also signed arguably the strongest medical freedom law in the nation.

DeSantis signs a series of medical freedom laws in Destin, FL.

"It is the intent of the Legislature that Floridians be free from mandated facial coverings, mandates of any kind relating to vaccines as provided in this section, and discrimination based on such vaccination status," the law states.

"Across the nation we see Americans denied freedoms due to a coercive biomedical apparatus," said DeSantis in his 2023 State of the State address. "These policies ..are grounded more in blind adherence to Faucian declarations than they are in the Constitutional traditions that are the foundation of free nations."

Ladapo, who DeSantis brought in from UCLA as Surgeon General to replace Scott Rivkees in 2021, praised DeSantis for taking a stand against unscientific Covid mandates. Ladapo is one of the America's Frontline Doctors who stood in front of the Supreme Court in July of 2020 calling for an end to mandates and advocating for the use of Hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.

“Only one Leader, across fifty states.. he saw what was wrong and would not let it stand.” said Dr. Ladapo."[DeSantis] authentically dug his heels in. Here are human rights. Here is liberty. Here is autonomy, your relationship to God. And I am going to stand here and protect that. I don't care what they say about me. I don't care what they spend. I don't care what they do. I am standing right here. And it changed the world. One person at a time."

DeSantis signed laws against the "biomedical security state".
