Whenever an elected official or candidate for public office faces stiff election day competition, he or she tries to find middle ground or compromise with those voters who may or may not support their campaign.
This is usually the case, as politicians seem to always attempt to “moderate” their views on positions or issues.
But this is not the case for one south Florida member of the U.S. Congress.
With her political career facing its toughest challenge ever, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) is not backing down from her stance on issues, she never has, so why would she start now?
Wasserman Schultz is pushing all of her political party’s election year agenda, including healthcare and gun control, not to mention taking a pound of flesh out of President Donald Trump.
Vote to expand health care access. Vote to stop the epidemic of gun violence. Vote to protect our clean air and water. Tomorrow, get out and go vote!

Her district is considered extremely safe for Democrats to hold, but with the emergence of Democrat-turned-Independent Tim Canova, all bets are off.
Canova is expected to pull significant Democratic support away from ‘DWS,’ leaving Republican Joe Kaufman in a position to play spoiler.
But wait, is Canova the real spoiler in this race?
Canova is said to be pulling Republican voters from Kaufman, and if Independent voter trend lines hold true, Canova could be sitting pretty on election night.
Again, until the final vote is cast and counted, no one in this race should be counting their chickens.
