The Republican Party of Florida left attendees of its fall quarterly meeting Saturday with one message: "David Jolly would undo what Governor Ron DeSantis has built."

"Eight years ago Democrats still had the registration edge. Today Republicans lead by 1.55 million voters, and we are 30 days from doing it again," Chairman Evan Power said in a press release Sunday. "The choice is eight years of wins under Governor DeSantis, or David Jolly, who wants to apologize for Florida to the rest of the world. We are not going to do that."

This comes just a few days after the Democratic Party announced they had registered more voters in September than the Republican Party, marking the first month-over-month increase greater than the GOP in years.

"Florida Democrats added 29,633 active registered voters from September to October, outpacing Republicans, who added 29,140. According to Decision Desk HQ’s Michael Pruser, this marks the first time since he began tracking Florida voter registration in mid-2021 that Democrats have posted a larger monthly net gain than Republicans," a press release announcing the out-registration informed.

However, in total registration numbers, the Republican Party still has the advantage, with over 5.6 million registered voters compared to the Democrats' nearly 4.1 million.

The Republican Party warned Democratic candidate for governor David Jolly could undo all the achievements Governor Ron DeSantis made during his eight years in office.

"The Republican Party of Florida believes Jolly would roll back the policies behind Florida’s success: the lowest taxes, the lowest debt, the nation’s top school-choice system, and a justice system that puts criminals behind bars," the press release shared.

According to the party, that record includes:

"Economy: Florida was the top state economy from 2019 to 2025, built on limited government and free markets in free communities. The state has the lowest debt, the lowest taxes, and the lowest in-state tuition, and Republicans will pay off what remains. New York carries more than $180 billion in debt.

Public safety: Florida is putting bad guys away. Prosecutions and sentences are at a record pace, including cases against more than 100 people accused of voter fraud. The state is also taking on AI companies that harm children.

Education and elections: Florida has the nation’s top school-choice system and its strongest elections.

Freedom: Banks and credit card companies will not flag gun and ammunition purchases in Florida."
