Democrats Have No Hope, Only False Narratives

Narrative Warfare is ramping up as the Midterm Elections approach on November 3.

Florida Democrats are still clinging to the now-discredited Hope Florida Foundation grand jury allegations that sought to create the appearance of scandal by preemptively declaring certain conduct unlawful- but then refused to actually bring charges against the people who were allegedly breaking the law because there was no actual illegality.

Thankfully, Democrats aren't brazen enough to enter false allegations into the public record in a court of law- but that didn't stop them from going to the airwaves during campaign season to get their slanderous message out.

If there were actual financial impropriety committed by any Republican elected official in this matter, Democrats would rightly seek to prosecute the matter.  But even as no actual wrongdoing was disclosed in the grand jury report, Democrats couldn't pass up an opportunity to cast aspersions on their political opponents and create a media mess over the airwaves.

The court ruling that should have put these accusations to bed from 1st District Court of Appeals Judge Lance Neff was mocked as a ruling from a "DeSantis-selected Judge" rather than a well-reasoned opinion from a competent court with jurisdiction over the matter.

The judge ruled that the grand jury's report was improperly leaked, violated state confidentiality laws, and should be expunged from the public record.

The RPOF and Attorney General Uthmeier aren't sitting on their hands regarding this matter- and rightly so.

Either you stand up to the lying bully in the lunchroom, or you allow them to define & defame you.

Democrats on X call this adjudicated matter a "conspiracy". "Stolen taxpayer dollars meant for children's healthcare."  "A protection racket for corruption." "Suppression of free speech," etc. etc.

Any slanderous substitute for the truth is the fodder for Democrats' rhetoric and campaign messaging.

It's only politics, they say- and our "political silly season" is in full bloom just two weeks before the election.

Here's hoping more truth-seekers and truth-tellers emerge within Florida's political discourse.
