Representative Byron Donalds's (R-19) campaign website for his gubernatorial run used to heavily feature mentions of President Donald Trump, but according to a recent report, it doesn't anymore.
A post Rep. Donalds made on X Tuesday afternoon, however, tells a different story.
"I am proud to have President Trump’s endorsement. While everyone is focused on our website, check out our policy proposals to make life more affordable for Floridians. Go to Byrondonalds.com/issues to see my policy page," he wrote in the post.

The updated website no longer has "TRUMP-ENDORSED Proven Conservative Fighter. BYRON DONALDS" as the main text on the front page, along with several other similar phrases throughout the website that are now notably missing. He even removed a photo of him and his wife posing with President Trump, the Miami Herald reports.
Although Trump's endorsement is still listed alongside several others, Rep. Donalds almost entirely scrubbed him from the site.
The biggest blow to Trump, however, comes on the priorities page of Donald's site, which used to list enacting Trump's agenda as his first priority if elected as governor. Now, affordability is listed as his top priority.
The Miami Herald reported that at least eight references to Trump were removed from the site.
This comes less than a week after Republican Representative Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27) publicly criticized Trump over his immigration policies in a new campaign ad, despite previously voting in support of Trump's roughly $70 billion funding package for Immigration and Customs Enforcement in June.
“Mr. President, some of your immigration enforcement efforts have gone too far,” she said in the ad. Her congressional opponent, Eliott Rodriguez, criticized the ad as disingenuous, citing that she previously voted in favor of the immigration policies.
