President Donald Trump announced that he will request the U.S. Supreme Court to rehear the case involving his executive order restricting birthright citizenship, following its ruling against the president’s bid.

“This miscarriage of justice will destroy America if they don’t change their absolutely insane decision,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social, arguing that the high court’s ruling was wrong.

According to President Trump, “Signs and Billboards are being put up all over our Southern Border, and Mexico, advertising BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP, with 'Deliveries starting at $4000.’”

"Signs and Billboards" in Mexico

The “signs and billboards” President Trump refers to come from a FOX News report confirming that a hospital in Mission, Texas, had posted two billboards in Mexico advertising “Paquetes De Parto En El Sur De Texas.”

The advertisement, which was also published on social media, offers “Birth Packages in Southern Texas.”

Fox News’ report originated from a social media post made by former Texas Congresswoman Mayra Flores, who uploaded an image of one of the billboards.

In her post, Flores expressed outrage over the American healthcare system’s childbirth costs compared to the advertisement.

“So let’s be clear. Hospitals absolutely can offer reasonable prices… They save the “special low rates” for marketing campaigns abroad while the people who actually live, work, and pay taxes in this country are crushed under inflated, chaotic, predatory insurance-based pricing,” she wrote on X.

President Trump Claims Families Will Exploit Birthright Citizenship

President Trump asserted that “billions of Dollars will be illegally made by this SCAM, with Citizenship going to anyone willing to pay.”

He alleged that it will be the primary tool for becoming a U.S. citizen, claiming that families will use their U.S.-born child to turn into naturalized citizens.

“NOBODY SAW THIS COMING!!! AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP IS NOT FOR SALE!” he wrote.

The high court recently struck down President Trump's executive order limiting birthright citizenship, ruling that it was a violation of the 14th Amendment's Citizenship Clause.
