The Republican congressional primary race in Florida's 23rd Congressional District continues to simmer as Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer has announced that his campaign raised a whopping $1,346,863 in the first quarter of 2026, with $1.2 million liquid in the bank, or "cash on hand."

Singer loaned his campaign $424, 010 to help boost the final total.

“I'm humbled by the strong show of support and generous donations from the district and the country. This fundraising milestone shows we are in the best position to highlight our record of results and take our common-sense, America First message directly to the voters throughout the fall. We are not stopping for a moment because we know how crucial this seat is to a House Republican majority, and a thriving economy for South Florida residents," said Scott Singer.

Singer will face off with a growing list of Republican congressional hopefuls, including presumed frontrunner, former State Rep. George Moraitis, who, as of Q4 of 2025, has raised $572,812.31.

According to FEC reports, Moraitis has $447,511.27 cash on hand.

Whoever wins the August 18 primary election will then face off with moderate Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz, who has raised $1,286,354.87 this cycle and has about $1 million in the bank.

Rep. Moskowitz's seat leans Democratic, but with redistricting looming in the coming weeks, the once fairly safe Democratic seat could swing in favor of Republicans. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has targeted Moskowitz's seat as a potential pickup in 2026.
