The Byron Donalds Campaign and Friends of Byron Donalds PAC announced a record $22.2 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026 for Congressman and Florida gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds (R-FL) in his campaign bid.
The new funds bring Rep. Donalds' war chest to $67 million, with 10,000 donors coming from his latest haul.
"Trump endorsed Byron Donalds is laser-focused on defeating the Democrats and keeping Florida red this November. Byron Donalds is the America First conservative who will defend the Florida Dream by making the Sunshine State safer and more affordable for families and seniors," said Ryan Smith, Chief Strategist for the Byron Donalds Campaign. "As Governor, Byron Donalds will lower our cost of living, protect our communities from illegal immigration, and stop the Radical Democrats from imposing their agenda on our state."
Rep. Donalds announced his gubernatorial bid in February 2025. His endorsements include President Donald Trump, who backed Donalds in a Truth Social post before his official announcement.
U.S. Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.), Republican Conference Chair Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), and House Republican Leadership Chair Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) are also backing his campaign.
In addition, Rep. Donalds has been endorsed by over 60 members of the Florida House of Representatives, including Reps. Meg Weinberger (R-Palm Beach Gardens), Berny Jacques (R-Seminole), Yvette Benarroch (R-Marco Island), and Juan Porras (R-Miami).
Reps. Tom Fabricio (R-Miami Lakes), JJ Grow (R-Inverness), and Linda Chaney (R-St. Petersburg) also announced their support for Donalds this week.
"I am proud to support Byron Donalds for governor because Florida needs a proven conservative fighter who delivers results," Fabricio said. "Byron has never backed down from standing up for law enforcement, defending our freedoms, and putting families first - and I have no doubt he'll bring that same strength and leadership to the governor's office."
J.J. Grow added, "I'm proud to stand with Donald Trump and support Byron Donalds, a staunch fighter for the America First agenda. Byron has consistently stood up for Florida families, backed law enforcement, and fought to keep our state free and prosperous. He understands that strong leadership means putting citizens first, defending our values, and delivering real results - and that's exactly what he'll do as Florida's next governor."
Donalds is in a Republican primary with Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, former Florida House Speaker Paul Renner, and businessman James Fishback.
Florida's primary election will take place on Aug 18.
