In what appears to be a runaway train of campaign momentum, two more Florida Sheriffs from Okaloosa and Madison County have endorsed Rep. Byron Donalds' campaign for governor in the 2026 midterm elections.

Sheriff Eric Aden (Okaloosa) and Sheriff David Harper (Madison) have join Calhoun County Sheriff Michael Bryant, Franklin County Sheriff AJ Smith, Jefferson County Sheriff Mac McNeill, and Liberty County Sheriff Dusty Arnold. this week to support Donalds' campaign.

In total, Donalds has received the support of 35 county sheriffs.

“The majority of Florida’s sheriffs endorse Byron Donalds because he is the law and order candidate for governor. As Governor, Byron Donalds will partner with President Trump and law enforcement to make Florida the safest state in America,” said Ryan Smith, Chief Strategist for the Byron Donalds Campaign.

The momentum, which is also largely fueled by the mountain of campaign cash ($45 million) he has raised, not to mention being endorsed by President Donald Trump, doesn't appear to be slowing down.

Lt. Governor Jay Collins and former Speaker Paul Renner are also running for governor but could soon find their campaign stretch over the tracks the Donalds Express is about to go over.
