Alex Bruesewitz, a popular media advisor to President Donald Trump, scathed Azoria CEO James Fishback after he announced his run for Florida governor this week, calling him a multitude of personal names as he mounts a bid against Rep. Byron Donalds for the nomination.

"James Fishback, the clown who just announced he’s running for Governor against Trump-endorsed @ByronDonalds, is nothing short of a shameless con artist and pathological liar," Bruesewitz wrote.

Bruesewitz, who has over 638K followers on X, also claimed Fishback went to him for "begging" for a job in the Trump administration, which he briefly considered before doubling down on the notion that Fishback is a liar.

"He brazenly claimed to be a DOGE advisor, a complete fabrication. He also boasted of committing $1 million to a Super PAC supporting Trump, yet not a single dollar ever materialized," Bruesewitz added.

He also slammed the gubernatorial hopeful for touting his Azoria fund, claiming Fishback widely exaggerated protections over five years. "The fund already appears to be collapsing. Fortunately, I saw through the smoke and mirrors and kept my wallet shut," Bruesewitz added.

Fishback, who's competing against Rep. Byron Donalds for the nomination, has chided the current Florida Congressman for previously expressing support of H1-B visas, which allow employers to hire foreign professionals for specialized jobs such as engineers or scientists.

Another potential Republican candidate, Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, has also criticized Rep. Donalds on his position.

Bruesewitz, on the other hand, backs Donalds, referring to him as the next governor of Florida in an X post earlier this month. He also said anyone running against Donalds was "wasting everyone’s time and simply running for attention," adding that it would be "foolish."

Bruesewitz is a senior advisor to the Trump leadership, Never Surrender. President Donald Trump endorsed Donalds for Florida governor in February, even before his official announcement.

It might come as little surprise that Brusewitz attacked Fishback so quickly.

"Now, in a pathetic bid for relevance, he's LARPing as a gubernatorial candidate in Florida, viciously smearing Byron Donalds, a man he was publicly praising on stage mere weeks ago," Brusewitz said. "This petty vendetta reeks of bitterness: scorned by his failed scams and snubbed from any role in the Trump admin."

Fishback reportedly met with Donalds at an event in Madison County back in August. They also apparently had dinner a week prior.

Safe to say any future dinner plans won't be happening anytime soon.

With Fishback in the gubernatorial race, the gloves appear to be off as he looks to take down the Republican frontrunner for the nomination.

"Fishback is destined to crash and burn, just like every other half-baked scheme in his sorry track record. What an utter embarrassment and waste of time," Brusewitz concluded.
