Florida Senator Rick Scott (R) released a scathing statement accusing the Biden administration and the Department of Justice of attempting to “dismantle” the Republican Party while he faced involvement in the ‘Arctic Frost’ investigation.

“I was just informed by Senator Ron Johnson that I was targeted in the Arctic Frost witch hunt by Biden’s DOJ," the Florida Senator announced on social media. "Let’s be very clear: this was a targeted attack to dismantle the Republican Party, destroy me and other elected members of Congress, and take down President Trump,” warned. “This is a complete weaponization of government and unconstitutional abuse of power by the corrupt Biden administration.”

He argued that he has “seen this before,” referring to corruption at this level, and claiming that former President Joe Biden’s IRS previously released his tax records and that "Clinton’s DOJ" also targeted him for opposing “Hillarycare.”

The Senator concluded his statement by thanking Republican Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson for making him aware of the targeting by the Biden administration.

“Thank you, [Chuck Grassley] and [Ron Johnson], for your work to hold the Biden admin accountable. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED. Everyone involved in this gross abuse of power must be held accountable,” Scott concluded.

Senator Grassley previously released 197 subpoenas that the Biden administration's FBI used to seek testimony and documents related to hundreds of Republicans and GOP entities as part of the bureau's Arctic Frost probe.

“Arctic Frost was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and DOJ prosecutors could improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus," Grassley said.

Senator Johnson simply called the subpoenas "nothing short of a Biden administration enemies list.”
