KPMG has announced the appointment of Savannah Jefferson as Director. The firm promoted several team members in its Tallahassee government services practice, as it grows its footprint in Florida.
Jefferson most recently served as Director of External Affairs for Governor Ron DeSantis. In this role, she oversaw statewide outreach and stakeholder engagement. She previously led communications at the Florida Hospital Association during the coronavirus pandemic.
Among the internal promotions, Maggie Mickler advanced to Principal, Danielle Kosberg was promoted to Managing Director, Kelsi Snow advanced to Manager, and Vincent Fetchero and Maxwell Thursam were promoted to Senior Associates.
KPMG United States Partner Anthony Monaco highlighted the team’s government experience as central to the firm’s mission of delivering trusted services to Florida’s leaders.
“KPMG Florida is proud to be the name state leaders trust. At the heart of our mission and exceptional service to our clients is a team trained by serving in state government at many levels. This is a terrific and growing team and I am proud of their tireless work in the Sunshine State,” said Monaco.
